You are not alone. You just reached out with your words and touched my mind, among other peoples! Thanks for sharing your state of mind because I've been there too and am not usually able to say it.
So, are your friends not genuine or are they involved in their own stuff and not as aware of your needs as they could be? I tend to not tell my friends when I am down because I know they are so busy. Usually I email them with my woes but turn them into funny stories- I get a lotta laughs this way and it makes me smile in return!
Do 50 sit ups. Your circulation will warm you, the pain in your stomach muscles will give you something else to think about and the adrenaline that will be released will give you some energy!
Or say f*** it, get a bottle of wine, some hot videos and go to town with a some physical gratification!
send me an email and tell me your woes. I am a great listener and promise not to tell you mine cause they would only make you laugh!

An Amish man and son were wandering around a mall. It was their first visit to such a place. They found a park bench and they sat. They were watching people going into and out of stores with bags containing their purchases. They noticed a gold double doors opening and this old lady entered into the room beyond. The doors closed for a few minutes and then opened. A beautiful women exited this room. The boy asked his father what was this magical room? His father said, "I don't know, but hurry up and go get your mother."

Some times, life is like a _hit sandwich kiddo... Chin up, at least you can tell the difference between real friends and superficial butt holes... You will meet people that are worth your time in the most unexpected situations. Be patient and keep and open mind. Maybe now is the time you that should reflect on what you have learned from your experiences with different types of people, and what kind of crap to stay away from. Good luck!

3 women where at the local gym sauna in Beverly Hills chatting it up. 2 of them were very rich and one of them wasn't. In fact she was only there because she won a one week free pass to the gym.
One of the rich women started ringing in her finger. She politely excuses herself and says, "I have to answer this phone call" and talks with her finger near her mouth and engages in a conversation with another person on the other line. After the call she explains that she had a microchip phone embedded in her fingertip. She then starts talking about how successful she was at being one of the best defense lawyers in Beverly Hills, bla bla bla.
The second woman in the sauna started beeping a minute after. The beeping sound came from her forearm. She explains to the group that her job paid to get an embedded pager underneath her skin and that her job as a brain surgeon requires her to return to work within an hour.
The third woman, feeling as though she's so poor because she did not have any of these technologies and was simply a waitress at the local diner excused herself for a min. After a minute she came back. Before she sat down, she bent over to pick up her towel that fell to the floor. The other two women gasp in shock at what they saw. One of them told the poor woman that she still had toilet paper sticking out of her behind. The poor woman, trying to act like she belonged, told the other two women to calm down and that she was just receiving a fax.

Hi there,
One thing about it, when you get so low, there is no way to go but...up! I found that when I no longer had lots of money...I had very few friends..then I met the Lord, Jesus Christ, and my whole life changed. It is as simple as saying,,,,Lord, my life is screwed up, I know i've made a lot of mistakes, will you forgive me, and help me with the rest of my life. Most certainly, if you do this, you will see such a tremendous change not only in your life, but your circumstances as well.
Be blessed, Jenna

I can see watching Rosie O'donnell making you down and lonely. Stop watching her!
Sheesh. Watch something similar, but entertaining, like whale migration patterns on Animal Planet.

Hey! It's ok. Life will get better and you will have genuine friends. Just remember that every person is equal and was created for a purpose. I'll be your friend! How old are you? My name is Amber. I'm 18. Just relax and remember that true friends are there for you and that I'm here for you right now. I don't go on this website for points or stars. I come here to help people.

i know the exact feeling.......i don't really have genuine friends or a good reason as to why i'm staying up late. but i'm also looking for a good "pick-me-up" these days. however i do find that listening to music (not emo or hard rock) can really turn my day around while i'm doing something i love around the house; like reading, taking a nap, or doing something art-sy. just keep yourself occupied with the things you love to do or take the initiative to invite a "good" friend over and hang out for awhile and get to them more (it's the summer, you have time to make your friends even more valuable) or plan a day to go swimming, bowling, or whatever. just keep your days full of doing things that you like to do, or mix it up with some adventure with your [new] friends.

The other day me and my husband where in the library using the computers and he had to go to the bathroom and he got up and walked towards the bathrooms. He walked in the woman's bathroom on accident and when he saw the ladies in there he asked them why they where in the mens room and they where like this is the ladies room and he argued with them saying that this was the mens room. he finally walked back outside, and indeed it was the women's bathroom. He came back and told me what happened and I started laughing my *** off. Hope this cheers you up some!! :)
