I'm thinking about doing a candy buffet. I will be having about 150 guests, including just 2 children. How much candy should I have for each guest, 1/2 a pound or 1/4 of a pound. What do people think?

I have a friend that was my former college teacher... we talk alot on email since the class has been over and today we met for lunch. We aren't good friends yet but it would be nice to really get to know her. (we are both female be the way). Like when she saw me she greeted me with a hug and said "Hey, Girly!" I wa just wondering if this means she sees me as a good friend like I see her as. Like in a way where she wants to get to know me more and hang out and all... What do you think?

how would you not get jealous all of the time of them? i was just thinking about johnny depp and his wife (or girlfriend, im not sure.) today, and everybody thinks hes soo cute and sooo talented (including me =P) and they are alllll over him. some girls have posters, stickers, shirts, everything with him on it... i dont get how the wife/husband of a famous person could not be jealous. i just dont get it. so if you could answer, maybe from experience, thatd be cool.. this just made me start thinking today, cus i know i get jealous aLOT, and idk how they handle it. i want to know how they handle it.. maybe itll help me think about my future boyfriends/etc. =) thanks!!

one week ago my wife and i got into a fight and we have two children a 3 and a half year old and a 4 month old. in the fight she started throwing things and cussing at me and basically freaking out. the next morning before i went to work i found a note apologizing for the actions taken the night before. when all of this commotion was going on my son the 3 1/2 year old was saying mommy is mad at you. now one week later i was watching a pixar short film with no spouses and no arguing in them but with the plot someone was angry and my son said "their mommy is going to be mad at the daddy". i expressed my concern with him saying this and my wife said "well i haven't done anything to you today to make him think that way so it's not my problem." i am going to post this question and let her review the responses so i would like some serious but not malicious responses so maybe she might see from my perspective or perhaps i could find some ways to better handle the situation. thanks all!

I'm in love with a teacher at my school. I'm positive that it's love, i've felt this way for 2 to 3 years now! My only question is, does she have any type of feelings for me in that way at all? Some of my friends think im crazy because im 14 and shes 26. Anway, i can't say much about her, except she stares at me alot, and when i look at her she either looks away really fast or smiles and then turns away. I was on the internet looking up Paris Hilton jury videos and laughing that she has to go to jail, right? I see this other video and it looks like some kind of porn think! I've been seeing this guy for a few weeks I'd say, and all last weekend we hung out together. we were supposed to do something on monday but didn't. then on tuesday i asked him if he wanted to go to the movies with me, but said "I wish I could but I have a convention tonight" so I said maybe another day, he said "maybe thursday or friday". then I hadn't contacted him since tuesday. then he just texted me tonight, and said "sorry this week is nuts" since it's thursday and all. so I texted back "it's ok I understand that you're busy, hope you're doing good. we'll be able to catch up" does that sound needy or too vague? or just right? I want him to think I'm still interested, how did that sound? lol sorry I'm being retarded but I'm just wondering.

I broke up with my boyfriend about a month ago. I loved him a lot but he betrayed me, cheated on me and lied the whole time we were together. Pretty nice eh?
This morning, I got a SMS asking how I was doing and that he thought of me.

My girlfriends tell me NOT to reply. I'm tempted to reply, to show him that I'm doing great and show him what he missed.
What should I do? Reply saying that I'm doing great? telling him that I missed him or just leave it?
