I was greatly trusted by my parents. In fact, I was given more trust than I should have had. Now that I am a parent, I look back wondering why in the world they trusted me so much. When my so is older, I know that I will expect him to make mistakes, as we all do. I will trust that he knows enough to stay out of real trouble, has enough common sense to stay away from things that could ruin his life. I don't know what kind of man he will grow up to be, but I hope I will always be able to trust him.

I may be young at heart, but I know what's responsibility and trust. You only can get it when freedom is thrown at ya but I seriously think it's how you look at it. Parents expect more out of their children and sometimes are either too Paranoid or just have a huge family name to live up to. With Kids, you definitely need to find out how they react to certain situations. From what I've learnt from my parents, is that, I should always make the right choice but it doesn't have to be the BEST choice. Trust comes in when you make the better choice in a difficult situation. Parents DO take Note.

That question is hard to answer unless you had mentioned an age for the child. When children are young, they need the parents' guidance and can't be trusted to make the right decisions. If a child is brought up by caring parents who teach them right from wrong and how to anticipate the outcome to their decisions, an older child can be trusted to make the right decision most of the time. Even as adults we can't always make the right decisions and have to either learn to live with a mistake we made, learn how to correct a mistake, and learn how to start over. This sometimes requires admission of an error and possibly an apology. My parents trusted me and my siblings on more and more things as we got older. By the time we were teenagers, we were told to make our own decisions and live with the consequences. My wife and I have brought up our children the same way.

My mother never ever trusted me. She always thought that everything I said or did was a lie. So far my children are young but I have given them the chance to earn my trust by doing things appropriate for their age. I can loose trust in them and will always give them a chance to earn it back. I will also always be willing to listen to what ever they have to say.

well my sons only two, so dont know how much trust you need to have in a two yr old.. but as far as my mom.. yes she trusted me, i didnt give her any reason not to, and if i ever broke trust, i worked my butt off to get it back.. most often if parents give a little they will get back bunches, then again, some parents give a little and get ran over, so iguess everyone is diff.

I would trust my kids. Kids nowadays are very sneaky. It all depends on the relationship you have with your child. Of course you know that trust has to be earned, if the kid is disrespectful towards your rules, then NO I wouldn't trust em.
