two weeks or so ago, a friend told me that he liked him, but I turn him down... I known him for years
He is still very friendly to me, and he is willing to still hang out and stuff like that....
I invited him to a school's musical on saturday....but he would rather go to a baseball game then watch a play/musical...
I thought he would like it, since he loves to act....
Why do I feel so hurt?

Well he prob. felt very hurt and betrayed because of you turning him down.

Two things...
He doesn't like to be turning down
and he likes much more baseball when you invite him to go to a musical play and when you invite him to go anywhere..
It's very probably that it's because the first thing...
but it's only a probability in one in a million
nothing more serious

Expectations, you expect to be judged or have her like you. Treat any girl that you speak with as a friend with no expectations and you will be surprised at the friends and dates that you might end up with!!!!!!!!!

Be true to your self ...... what do you really want from him.....I think your holding out hope or perhaps you failed to relay your intent ...... Most guys ... a play ... really now.
Ask him to join you at a dinner action movie thingy or sports event.
try your luck there ... or choose another.

you feel so hurt, because somewhere inside you have feelings for him. you want to like him and you have feelings for him deep down inside because you know that he has liked you, but in reality, you can't or won't or don't like him. this has happened to me before, and you can't let it get to you. he probably thinks that you don't have much interest in what you want to do because inside he is hurt maybe.
