Hi, unfortunately my wife and i are splitting up, due to her unfaithfullness. We have 4 kids and a mortgage, and we have discussed the way forward. We have agreed on every issue, and seem to have everything covered, so do we still need to involve solicitors?

Can i get some advice please folks?

My sister-in-law, just emailed me to tell me about her little nephew's illness. He is literally a baby - 8 months old - and has been receiving treatment for leukaemia.

For the past three weeks, Dylan has gone into the hospital for 24 hour chemo treatments and then home for a few days and to go back to the children's hospital for more chemo. Though he was in great spirits and almost back to his old self, something has happened......

The chemo is tearing the lining in his little body causing pain and bleeding. The doctors have put him on morphine and now he has the 'runs' and is very very uncomfortable. He may not make it.

I wish I could give my brother, my sister-in-law, and her family a huge hug but they are in the States and I'm in the UK.

How can I help her to cope?

I love MEN!!

And I mean this is a totally platonic way.... Sorry ladies I like you too when I want to talk girlie stuff but as a rule men ROOOOCK! I am a painter and decorator at the moment but used to be a nurse. So I am now in a pretty much male dominated job.

I loved nursing but couldn't stand the moaning staff!

Men get on with life with very little moaning and tend to be much more interesting and fun to talk to.

All hail the male species ;-)

My husband insists that even if he is lying to someone (whether it be family or friends) that I should cover up for him. I am totally against this but he feels that a wife should always be on the husband's side in these cases. He was telling some friends that he had to work a particular night and when I overheard it I said "no you don't", figuring he had his schedule mixed up. This turned into a huge fight and I was told I should always cover for him. Your opinions please...I am at my wits end.

My wife died three weeks ago from a Berry's anuerysm and I don't know what to do? We have an eighth month old together and I have a 12 y/o stepdaughter. I think I'm loosing my mind, I still have trouble eating and weird things make me cry. I miss her so bad. I feel bad for my children. I think it's starting to finally set in. I don't know what to do.

Give it to me for real. What makes a man worthy for you. What does he have to have. Be specific.

The reason we are together is my baby. I just can't think of leaving her or her growing up without her dad. We have also decided to see other ppl but have not taken that step as yet. I don't know how long i will go on like this.If you are also in a similar situation, pls share/guide/suggest ways to make it work.
And pls do not suggest to go to therapy. Thats out of question. Only share if you are/or have been in the same boat. And how do you cope. What rules are in place. When do you think its right to tell your kid about it?
Pls help.

My step son was incarcerated while living with gramma. Hes was in there for quite some time and upon his release, he was ordered to live with his dad and I and wasnt allowed to go back with gramma. They released him with an ankle monitor. Well since hes been here, he has snuck different girls in my home in the middle of the night, has sex with them in the same room with my 10 y/o in there(they shared a room), has gotten in several problems in school, and continued hi little gang crap even though those were conditions of his probation. His P.O was giving him TOO much slack. Anyway yesterday, he got into some trouble in school for being involoved in some sort of gang activity. When the administrator called to let us know, I referred him to my step sons PO b/c I am so fed up with his problems. When my step son heard this, he ran a way from school and cut off his monitor and now we cant find him. Was I wrong?

Married 15 yrs, 2 kids, lost 1 house to foreclosure, filed bk once, could lose another house, he has had approx 16 jobs in 20 yrs, something big is always gonna happen, drinks way to much & mixes it w/perscriptions, doesn't spend time with the kids unless it's something he wants to do and we have no sex life anymore. I'm tired of worrying and fed up with the constant wondering if we'll be okay. Yes, I have a job now but I was a stay at home mom for years and I have no money to try and go back to school. My parents want to buy me a house so I can start fresh with the kids. Oh and I suggested counciling and surprise he said no.
