Okay....You can't tell her to leave; because she won't till she has reached the bottom. I have been in her shoes and it is very hard for someone to get out in most cases. Try talking to her and just let her know you are there for her. She needs to see the light and get out ASAP though. I didn't and it almost cost me my life; and our son's. I had him in my arms when it happened and was just trying to keep him safe. So now I am deaf in one ear and almost blind in one eye. THAT! was my wake up call. Find some articles on this subject and show her. I now speak at women's shelters telling these abused women there is hope but you have to take that first step. Just be her friend and don't abandoned her ; be there for her no matter what. Just pray she gets out before it's too late.

If she is young, call CPS, or whatver you call Child Protective Services. If she is older, it is kind of tricky. Sometimes you just push the abused away from you, and they are already being isolated by their abuser so they will feel like they have no one but the abuser. Try and talk to your friend, maybe some other friends and her parents and you can do an intervention on her.

Let it be known that you don't approve. And then stay out of it. Sometimes these girls choose this kind of guy so that they always have some drama and can be the center of attention for both the obsessed guy and her consoling friends.

if you friend knows she is bieng abused and you try to get her out of it she might snap at you cause she thinks you are interfering with her life but i would tell you to simply ask her what she is going to do about it and maybe have a restraining order against him (if it is that bad)and then try to get him/her to move out from where they are living cause if you are not careful he might come at you too.so if you really wanna take the risk do it for your friends sake!
