I have a big problem with this.
They got divorced in 05, we got married in Feb 07,when we financed a car together I found out that his ex never refinanced the car that she got in the divorce so my husbands name is still on the car loan. They also closed a credit card but she later reopened it and charged over $2000.00 on it, and his name is on that credit card.
He says that I am over reacting and I shouldn’t be upset, he don't see what the problem is and feels that it is no big deal!
I don’t want to get a bank account together or finance anything with my new hubby until she take care of this. The divorce papers say she needed to pay off the credit cards with the sale of the house and refinance the car into her name.
Now her mail is coming to out apartment!
Am I over reacting and what should I do?!
We live in Washington State

My friend is getting married 7/7/07 in Vegas and then redoing the whole thing in Jan.... long story short... she is going to have the whole traditional wedding... and wants a shower and everything. I wanted to do something nice to recognize her eloping.... but I didn't want to spend a lot of money since I'll be buying her gifts in the future... plus I have my own wedding to pay for. Anything other then a card that I can do or give her to recognize her first wedding day? I tried calling the chapel to buy them a drink or something but they want a freaken $100!! Or is a card ok?

I'm a 54 year old male, currently separated for over two years from a partner with whom I lived for nearly 22 years before getting married. The marriage took place despite the fact that we were having extreme stresses and difficulties at that stage of our relationship. After the marriage, I was unsettled and unhappy about the relationship, and I resented the marriage, but I went along because my wife thought it was the right thing to do for financial security reasons. I then had an affair which precipitated the separation. I think I'm still very much in love with the other woman, but I can't face divorce because of the pain I will cause, but I also know I will be resigned to the marriage. What steps should I take to resolve my conflict?

My fiance and I are going to dance our first dance as Husband and Wife to "This I swear " by Nick Lachey. After the second verse is finsished we want the DJ to play like 10 seconds of scrambled music (like he messed up the song, but really its all an act), then cut in with "The way you make me feel" by Michael Jackson, then we will dance a rehersed dance. We think this will be a really cool idea to get the guests in party mode. Do you think thsi is a good idea?

My daughter goes to college. Well her semester is over April 20th. She has a bf that also goes to school with her. It was to my understanding we all 3 were going to get an apt together. Well he does not want an apt with us and says he will move back in with his mom. In which she does not appreciate him in any way. He comes over to my daughter's on campus apt (which he has one to) and spends the night with her. As she goes over to his also. Now he wants no apt with us, and says if he moves in with his mom, He can still like to come and go over to our place whenever he likes to. Now she is heartbroken cause he wants to break up with her if We decide to move back to Texas instead of living up here in Oklahoma. I think he is treating her unfairly. They have been together for almost 2 years and see each other everyday. My job is in Texas and that is why I have went through so much troubles to find a new job here and find us a place. She is deeply hurt over this. And he is very lazy about it

I have some serious drama going on so listen up and don't be a azz when answering my question.. Well I am always giving out advice about what people should do but I kinda got myself in this situation and I am having a hard time getting threw it. Here it goes!! I ran into an old friend of mines whom I used to date and well the only thing good in the relationship was the sex. Not to get grahic but he is so into me when we are having sex and he just takes me out of my element like one night he took me out for dinner when it was warm out and the sprinklers was on well he put me on his back and carried me across the wet grass to keep my toes from getting wet I mean we have ruff sex, make love and cuddle he even licks my toes. Well the problem is we both met other people while we have been apart and yes we hooked back up even though we knew we were with other people but I think I may love him.. What do I do I mean how do I stop thinking about him when I really want him?? I so attracted 2 him

I'm dating this guy who is a navy seal. He has told me that as part of his training he had to undergo "interrogation resistance" training (or something like that). He said that during one of the exercises, several of them were tied down in only their pants - bare chest and bare feet - to padded tables and were tickled by senior officers until someone broke. He said their underarms, stomachs and feet were tickled mercilessly until one of them shouted the 'code word' for surrender. Not until then would the tickling stop on any of them. He said this took place over a couple of days and each time the tickling went on for 2 or 3 hours non-stop. Apparently, guys who aren't ticklish were removed to do some substitute exercise.
I know this guy is pretty damn ticklish. He can't stand it actually, especially his feet. So this must have been hard for him. He said that he wasn't supposed to be discussing it.

My question is, has anyone heard of such a training, or is he making this up?

I tried asking this question yesterday but it didn't register right away or something and I only ended up with one answer...so here it goes again...

Guys, what is your favorite eye color/ hair color combination? Do you prefer the blond hair/ blue eyes that seem to be so popular? I have dark brown hair and greenish-blue eyes. Just curious...

Me and my husband of three years had a big fight this weekend which resulted in him leaving. He works outta town so he went back early. We have 2 girls one is almost 2 yrs and the other is 5 months. He called today and told me that he's decided to just leave us all behind and move back to Nigeria. I don't know if he really is or if he's just playing games with my head in order for me to just cave and give into his ways. I've been lied to so often that I just don't know wat to believe anymore. I don't want him to leave the country cuz he won't see the girls anymore but I don't want to be the submissive, passive wife either. I need help desperately!!!!!

Recieving divorce papers is something that most married, engaged and even single individuals (like myself) hope to never experience. Such a traumatic event can kill the most loving relationship/friendship between two lovers and toss the individual on the receiving end of the divorce into a whirlwind of confusion.

Q 1: For those of you who are divorced, did any red flags and/or warning signs pop up early in your relationship that made you feel that things might not go well in the future?
Example:Your former husband/wife became very controlling at one point or another during the marriage.

Q 2: For those of you who are currently married, engaged, and/or cohabitating with a potential long-term spouse, have you noticed any red flags popping up in your present relationship?

Mature answers are strongly desired and appreciated. Thanks.
