Thought I'd just add, I'm recently returning to the dating world after a several year hiatus. I've been asked out by more than one man. I don't think I'd feel comfortable dating more than one man at a time, and I have no idea how people can even balance dating multiple people in the first place.

My personal opinion... (I shouldn't be answering this)... decide for yourself if you want to read any further...

1. You first have to feel comfortable with the idea of "dating."

2. Dating is by definition supposed to be casual until the things you do while dating are uncasual. (Your personal definition of casual should be used to discern what is or isn't casual).

3. Unless you plan to "be a player," you should definately let all parties know that you are "casually seeing" them, so all parties involved know where they stand.

4. When you find someone you're deeply compatible with, gently let anyone else know that your feelings have changed with regard to casual dating as nicely as possible... (preferrably with ice cream).

My personal opinion....

First of all, ignore anyone who is calling you a slut. "Dating" is supposed to be non-exclusive. Make sure, however, that the people you are dating know that you are not exclusive yet, and be safe when it comes to sex.

Balancing dating more than one person in today's society gets harder and harder since it become ever more rare. Basically you need to pick out a day of the week for each man and not change that... or see each one every other week or something. If two men ask you out on the same night, go with the person whom either you like more, or who asked first.

Remember that as soon as you find that you are not compatible with one of the persons you are seeing you need to lose him quickly or he might begin to start having feelings for you.

I think you do it with time management. However, ultimately you have to consider the consequences when you get deeper involved with one or more of the people.

Always practice safe sex because you don't want to be spreading diseases all over the place.

Ummm...don't let both of your dates see each other with you. Guys like me think those kinda girls are sluts, and think you're cheating on us.
