My junior/senior prom is rapidly approaching and unfortunately I have no date at the moment. My question is, "How or what is the best way to approach a girl to ask her to go?" I do have a specific girl in mind but I am not dead set on her. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

me and my husband have been together for 8 yrs we just got married in november, last year we sepereted for 7 months and now that we are back together he always wants to leave me and says he don't love me, i don't understand why he is doing this, could he still be hurt from me kicking him out last year or does he really just not love me please help i am 16 weeks pregnant and can't do it on my own please please help

married 12 yrs. a few times there was physical violence. at the end emotional abuse. alot of arguing, resentment and lack of respect. at the end i had a relationship with another man. I always think of how things could be if we could make things better. but how do you stop wondering what if and start seeing things as they are. I want my kids to have parents that live together, that are happy and in love, but I don't think he and I will be happy together.i don't know why, i've tried to fix it for years.I just don't trust that things will get better. they haven't in 12 years so why now?but I can't help but have doubts and worries about my kids unknown future pop in my head. my anxiety is over the top trying to adjust to this new situation. and i know if i take him back alot of the other worries would go away.I know its normal to have ambivalence about ending a marriage.or so i hear.I'd love to hear from others who have been there and tell me how they moved past the doubts and what if's

Girl that I work with in a restaurant is using heavy drugs(crystal meth), with terrible results....I don't even like the girl, she gets on my nerves all the time....but her mother is extremely nice, comes into the restaurant at times. Should I tell this girl's mother? I don't want to break my heart.....considering I don't even like the girl should I just not worry about it and mind my own business? I think I would be much better off if I had not found out.

I was never married to the father. I left him once I found out I was pregnant and he refused to stop the drugs. I am now married to a man who has raised and supported my son since he was 4months old. He would like to adopt, but since I have married the father has now decided to take me to court. First it was for visitation, now he has put a contempt charge against me for not allowing him to see my son. I have tried reporting his drug dealings to the local police and Crimestoppers with no avail, the father moved to another residence and the investigation on him stopped. Not only does this man deal drugs out of his home, he was also physically abusive to me when we lived together. The only person that was his abuse was his 6yr old daughter who I'm sure will not testify against him. I am desperate now because my son has serious heart defects and is autistic. I live in Texas, the father lives in Oklahoma. If anyone can help me I would be very appreciative.

...he can't stand the guy - he's 8. "What's weird dad is that he acts like there is nothing wrong when he's around when I can't stand him. When he comes over all of a sudden mom is acting like everything is great but before he's there there is nothing special. When he comes around mom makes these special dinners but when he's gone it's just normal dinners. I feel like he is more special to mom than I am" - she was hiding this guy even when we were supposedly trying to patch things up - on my part obviously now but being blinded by her lies and appeasing diversions...so is she lying to him also? Defrauding him - all of a sudden when I challenge her actions of allowing this guy to sleep at her place while my son is there in a small one bedroom apartment claiming inappropriate behavior and threatening his moral wellfare - he was not raised this w...she's engaged and a week later they're getting married and buying a "new nice home where we all intend to live". Any comments on this scenario

We where married on the 29th of May in WV but our marriage license says we where married on the 19th of May? This is 10 day earlier then our actual wedding day. So we are now wondering are we even legally married????

I don't want to sound cocky but I Know I have a good voice...but when me and my friend were singing this song she told me to sing one part and she would sing the other well when we were singing i got scared and my voice cracked I can only sing when I'm on the phone with her and i don't even sing that loud how can I get over this? (I do it to my parents too) I'll be singning in my room or the shower and I know that they can hear me but when they want to do karaoke or if they want me to sing for them I'm too shy what can I do? plzzzzzzz help!!

i'm 20 and live with parents. i think it's normal my parents want me to be a doctor or lawyer and i have my own website business which is doing pretty good and they tell me it's not a career. i know that but they are telling me if i become anything else than a doctor or lawyer they wouldn't want to have anything to do with me. i'm going to lawschool in 2 years but i don't want to be a lawyer or doctor. they don't have any faith in my business even though it's doing soo well i'm getting paid like $70,000+ a year with it but i stay home a lot because i do it all from home. they tell me it's not living because i'm working at home. they would rather see me working a $30,000 job at a bank because it's not home. why are they doing this to me? i don't want to do what they want but they keep pushing me and telling me if you don't we don't want to know you. it's killing me i don't want to be a doctor like my parents or lawyer. they want me to make a legal contract saying what i'll do with life

Why is it that single men will flirt with you one day and be all in your face, then the next day they may just walk by and look at you and not even speak. Next time you see them, they are back to wanting you around them and flirting, smiling, and talking like crazy. What is the logic behind this? It's so confusing. How can you ever figure something out like that?

About a month ago a good friend of mine came to me and tried to talk me and my wife into swinging with him and his wife. My wife didn't want to at first but eventually she was a liitle interested. Well we all got together at his house and at first we still weren't sure about it. After some drinks and some time in their hot tub we were switching partners. Now here is were the major problem is. He only lasted about 8 to 10 min with my wife. So for what seemed like an eternity my friend and my wife watched me and my friends wife go at it. CURLING STRAIGHT HAIR AND IT HOLDING THE CURL FOR SEVERAL HOURS? My wedding is in July and I want to wear my hair half-up/ half-down and really wavy like the pics. My main question is how do I make my hair curl the best and HOLD the curl for several hours?

Also, my elbow-length veil will start at the top of the back of my head and will not cover my face.
What do I need to use to pull my hair half-up that won't be too much in the way of the comb on my veil (or whatever it's called that holds the veil on)?

The thing is... I can picture my life with him, but I can also picture my life without him too. We fight alot, mostly about the past. I know he'd take such good care of me, but I feel like there's something missing. He criticizes our sex life... and whenever I do something to change or "spice it up" he wants something else. There's no romance... he wants me to cook and do all this stuff, but he never brings me flowers or whatever... I have 3 boys and am expecting again, I thought I would help out my sister-in-law and watch her kids while she worked since I am a stay at home mom, so I told her 20.00 a day since she has 2 kids there ages are 8 months and 2 1/2, mine are 5,2,1 so my hands and everything else are full when I watch them, she acts like she shouldn't pay me because we are family, shouldn't I get paid. what do u think?

I have been dating a guy for 3 months and I am starting to see that he is "just not that into me". He is 27 and I am 32 so I should have known not to get serious with him. I am seeing some red flags so I know I need to move on. I have feelings for him so its hard to just cut him off. I really like him but I don't see the feelings being recipicated and I feel that I am putting more into him than he is me and it hurts. He does things like barely returns my calls, he'll say he is coming to see me and never show up, etc. He calls or texts me when he doesn't hear from me so I talk to him because I like him a lot. Why does he put effort into doing this when he knows he is not into me like that? Why all the games? I am really on an emotional rollercoaster with him so I know I have to cut this off before he totally breaks my heart. I deserve better. Emotions are something you just can't hide so please give me adivice on how to cut someone off that you strongly like.
