Met a guy around 3 years ago, we were like best friends as well as lovers. He 28, me 23. He wasn’t too sure about having any commitments at that stage in his life. He messed me about in the process with broken promises due to his inability to commit. He said he wasn’t in the frame of mind for a relationship with any1 right now as he is isn’t sure about having commitments as he wants to focus on his career, other activites & just wants some space from relationships. So I gave him 1 last chance to tell me exactly what he wants as I have an opportunity to start seeing some1 else? And he still said that we should be friends as I deserve the best & he cant give that to me right now. If he were to be with someone it would be me but he isn’t looking for a relationship at the moment, so I told him that there was no going back after this.
He still tried to be friends by callin me every week or so to see how I was.Obviously just so that he could still have a chance when he is ready “!

I have a problem.

Tonight, I already said to my good lady that I would go for an informal meal thing with her work colleagues last night. Unfortunately for me this morning, the lads have decided to have a beers and bowling night which is much more up my street.

How do I play it, do I try and worm out of the works do or do I bite the bullet and listen to them droning on about print management all night.

Guyz do you think cheaters can stop/change or is it a kind of disease. Am asking these cuz i still love her and i would very much like my daughter to grow up in a family of both father and mother. Even though am still hurting something in me tells me thats she can change and maybe still live together as wife and husband. Maybe am confused, maybe i need time, i really i am in a mess, life is no longer the way it was. But why did it have to happen when i had so much plan for both of us. we had been good relation since last 2 yrs....but suddenly things changed....he remains so busy in his work....and does not even keep some time for me.....and we usually have fights over small things....like not writing mail...or keeping me waited for long time n all.....day before yesterday i asked him if u dont have time then u should not have loved...or make this new relationship.....he said i was little child that time and now i m grown up......it really felt me so bad...i did'nt had any talk with him since and i just wrote 3 lines mail that "whether it was a joke or truth but sorry i think u dont need me anymore so bye forever?if i did the right thing and i love him ,i dont know wht to do help me????

a friend asked me to call her because she needed someone to talk to. so i did. i asked her what was wrong and wat happened, so she told me. i didn't kno what to say after this... so i kept quiet. then she changed the subject to something completely different.

i think that i was being insensitive to her... but i really didn't know what to do... i just listened to her, and answered her questions and i also tried to be funny bcos i didn't know the right words to say. after a few mins, she had to go... i msged her a "cheer up" msg and tried to be funny again after this.

have u guys got any suggestions how i can treat something like this in the future? because i always want to be there for my friends, but i really don't know what to say when they are upset.

my problem is that my boyfriend studies out of town, and our only way of contacting for now, is through pc and chat (he lost his cellphone, and long story that we cant call eachother) and it's a month that his hard has got burnt b/c of power supplies, so now our only way now is that he goes to a net cafe at the WEEKENDS, b/c he has many exams and needs to study the whole time, but again b/c of his studies, he sometimes cant make it, and that makes me sitting infront of the pc waiting for him, but he doesnt show up, then the next day he comes and apologizes and tells me that he really couldnt come cuz of his studies. but eventhough i know he's really busy, that still hurts me and makes me angry that i waited so long and he didnt come.
how can i nicely ask him to either dont set a time or when he does, act upon wat he said and dont make me wait so much?
I DONT WANT TO TALK ANGRY WITH HIM.

My parner (girlfriend) and I are splitting up and we have a young baby (who i look after as a full time dad). She wants to leave the house (which i have put most of my savings in) but doesn't want me to have it...she wants me out of her life so to speak. my fiance initially was very romantic about giving me a ring.he wanted me to choose etc after which i felt bad and told him he should.all of a sudden now that his family knows about us hes announced that his baby sister would help him in choosing the ring.i have nothing against her and we just got done with a silly argument about his parents.i dont want to say "why do u need her ".i am secretly scared she will prevent him from going "over the top" even if he wants to-and i know he does.i dont know what to say cos there doesnt seem to be a nice way to say it.by the way the reason hes told me about gettin me a ring already is cos we are doing this long distance and he wanted everyone to be prepared.

Part 2 - as mentioned before - my best mate is a guy going out with a now friend of mine. To try and shorten this story - she set me up with a mate of hers - we got on ok on our date but he started getting a bit too clingy with constant texting and ringing. I asked him to back off but he wouldnt so I just started ignoring him. It now transpires that she was the one encouraging him to do this even though she knew I didnt like it. It has now come to light though - that she is telling this guy she has ended things with her bf - and is insinuating she would like to get with this guy. Me - this guy and her boyfriend are now aware of these games shes playing - so basically - she no longer talks to me - shes trying to get with this guy she set me up with - and shes still with her boyfriend...
Can anyone shed some light on what the hell or why she is doing this?? Im guessing shes psychotic - but would love to hear your opinions! sorry for this being so long and confusing!!

Who here really doesnt give a crap about looks? everyone has thought or said in he past that they don't care about looks, but i know they're lying. My best friend has a facial deformity, and she is upset because she just got dumped because of it. She is thinking about plastic surgery.
She asked me to be honest about my opinion, but i just don't think i can tell her that her face is more grotesque then a dead pig at the slaughter house. I think she should have the surgery, but what if she wakes up after wards, and doesn't recognise herself in the mirror?

How do i bring back the fun and stop putting pressure on my relationship?I am 24 and have been with my boyfriend for 18mths. he is 22. We are living at his mum's to try and save money for a mortgage i thought we both wanted. He has now turned around saying he doesn't want a mortgage right now and he wants to go back to having fun and not to argue or discuss the future anymore. He is happy with living for evryday and whatever happens...happens. I just like to know we are both eventually heading in the right direction. He has told me he loves me and wants to be with me but doesn't know what to do anymore.What should i do, how can i let him know that i can relax, be fun and not talk about a mortgage any more?

Well, i've been dating this man for about 5 months. in the beginning, of course, everything was fine, everybody was happy. Then he started getting away, and we "broke up", on his request. Hecame back afetr a week, but actually nothing had changed, he still wentout without telling me where he is, we kept meeting having his life without involving me in. So i told him that i don't want to see him anymore (which is kind of hard, as we work together:). We are fine at work, no problems, except for one - i still love the motherfu**er. I've no idea why on earth am i doing this to me, I've no idea what on earth has he done to me, but i know that i just can't get him out. It's not like in a soap opera drama, it's just that he is always in my head, like a flashing red light. I date men, but they just bore me, they're not him.

I recieved the invitation for my firend's wedding today. It was just addressed to me on the envelope but the RSVP card has a space to put how many people will be attending. Is it rude to just assume I can bring a guest? I feel weird asking her if she wasn't planning on it, but at the same time, I wouldn't really know anyone else there and would feel very out of place if I went alone. All of her other friends have serious boyfriends, so I'm sure they'll be attending, should a single gal be expected to sit awkwardly alone at an event or is it assumed I would bring a guest?
