Is it a MALE's nature to cheat (spread their seed)? So it should be acceptable to "date around"?

i would think it is more the FEMALE's nature to cheat. since it is the ultimate responsiblity of her to propagate the species she has to find the right person to mate with. And to find the right person she has to date around for the best and suitable... and not settle for less or just one.
The male dominated society has brainwashed women to think otherwise.

everything is nature. It's man's nature to invent and to build things...and although we might not call skyscrapers 'natural', they are a product of nature nevertheless.
Now, it's important to realize that there are a lot of conflicts in nature.
On the one hand it is both man and woman's nature to seek out sexual encounters... but it is also their nature to hold integrity and virtue in high esteem - which often entails the transcendence of primal urges such as libido.

Procreating instincts are just one of many drives which we are compelled by, and in the context of all the others (virtue, justice, knowledge), the sexual drives are hardly important (especially in this day and age when the existence of the species isn't threatened by a long cold winter).
Thus, it is never really that acceptable for anyone to cheat if one considers all of the human drives and not simply the animalistic ones.

To cheat on what? whenever a man has something with a women in the order to deposit his seed he doesn't do it with his a$$.
If you mean the female activity of finding men to "Cuckoo" their children(or sugar-daddy her) ,it has been done before in other older Cultures not only of Europe,where her clan takes care of her offspring independent of the biological father(avunculate)and by the Polyandry,where a woman has many fathers for the child regardless it can be only one.
Women have maybe brainwashed men in those systems "to propagate Species",one may be tempted to think,while women in other Cultures were not so convincing or were inept as how to do it/"get away" with it.
But it just maybe that women have found it more comfortable to be with just one man in some "intimate way" that they couldn't have with more than one.For personal preference or sentimental un-reason than logic genetic competition.

You've just explained why females tend to mess around less; because it's her responsibility to find the BEST seed around. That's why women are more picky; they're looking for the right person (to mate with). So it's not necessary for a woman to have lots of sex, but it is helpful for her to be choosy, to have ways of testing what a man is really like rather than how he appears, and to only give herself physically to one man (once she finds him).
However, I will agree with your last statement... to an extent. Patriarchy has pushed sexual prudeness onto women. It's very natural for a woman to want to roam around and meet and be with lots of men, and I think this aspect of feminity has been repressed. However, i don't think it's fulfilling for a woman to be having sex with whoever, whenever.
