I have a kingston usb flash drive (1gb) which I use to store photos on. I recently attempted to open the drive (from two different) computers and it tells me that the drive is not formatted.

Is there anyway to recover my (*priceless*) photos?

i want to be able to dictate into my mic and it show up on my pc screen. my hands are really bad so any long time typing is really bad so i want to be able to just dictate it and it show up on screen.i would appreciate any help. i don't even know what software or any downloads i may need.

my computer crashed a while ago, i lost everything!
it is up and running again now but i have lost the drivers to the sound card. i think i need to locate the sound card to find out what one i have? then download the drivers? please where is it and what do it look like?

What is the Pentium or Intel-Celloron equivalent to the AMD Turion 64 x 2 TL-50 (1.6GHz/512KB)? I dont quite keep up with the whole AMD things, but I was planning on buying a new laptop so, I need to know. And, would this be good in a notebook? Vista or XPP?

I'm going to buy a laptop that I'll use for Photoshop, 3ds Max, and gaming.

I read that if an application isn't programmed to use both processors, it'll use only one. For example, 3GHz processor will run faster than 2X 2GHz.

So, should I go for, lets say, 3.4Ghz instead of 2x 1.8Ghz? But isn't 3.4Ghz at a higher risk of burning out?

I've put the jumper on device 1 setting, cable select, and device 0 (not on) the light lights up, but i get the message E:/ not accessible "a device attached to the system is not functioning". It seems like it;s connecting to the computer because the hour glass will appear at the same time the blue light turns red?

I just bought some Cerwin Vega speakers model # Re-30. They are rated at 4ohms and 250 watts. I am planning on listening to music from my PC, I have a Creative labs Xtreme Music sound card. Looking for the best way to run these speakers without blowing up anything. Got the speakers on ebay for $100 and hoping to find a fairly inexpensive solution to power them. Any ideas???

I have the part labeled "slave" on the IDE thats going to my master goin in the hard drive and when I start my computer, it tells my "invalid disk, retry" and what not. When I go into setup during the boot I can't seem to get the computer to recognixe the drive? Does have something to do with a jumper? I need help. My computers running out of space.

i just bought a 1gb SD memory card for my pc an camera , poped it into the pc with nothing on the card , an it says that it does not have the required performace charactericits to use ready boost, i have 2gb of ram , an i tryed to turn off some start up programs like windows messenger an AIM, so i have virus an spyware an a filter starting up w/ the drives of course. , is there any way i can get it to work or do i need to get a bigger card , an how big would it need to be if i have 2gb of ram..
