Where are you and what is your budget?

EDIT: Under $250 you should be able to get ATI Radeon X1950 Pros or NVIDIA GeForce 7900's or 7950's

They are not THE latest and greatest, but then no game uses the latest and greatest any way.

Just as long as your computer meets the requirements to play the game, an NVIDIA 6150LE is a good video card. Make sure there are no other programs running and make sure your computer is free of spyware or anything else that will slow down the game. I know how it is when a bunch of people tell people to get new computers, right? Unlike them, some people can't afford new ones or they don't even need a new one, you know?

Oblivion is the most demanding game in terms of graphics hardware. Your budget may be able to buy you a Nvidia 7900GS or an ATI X1950 Pro plus a new power supply in case your current one can not cope up w/ the card's power requirement.
