I wanna be able to watch all my downloaded videos on the TV screen and it's kinda not possible with cables as there's a bit of a distance from my study room to the lounge room, so I'm guessing I'd need something wireless.

What is the name of the device I need? Would this device be able to display anything appearing on my computer screen to the TV (video playing wise)?

Thank you...

Yeah, as it says above, I have the a dual processor computer and the programs don't work properly, so I have to set it to work on one processor. Well, there are games where they don't let you go back to Windows or they will think your hacking, is there away so I can tell the computer that this program will only work on one processor?

I have heard that the speeds of 478 pin processors differ from those of 775 pin processors. Will a PC with 478 pin 3.4 or 3.2 GHz processor with 1.2GB RAM be able to support Vista Ultimate and Office 2007? Will it deliver as good performance? Also, what amount of L2 ( 1MB or 2MB ) cache is needed for optimum performance? Please explain with links.

Thanx in advance!

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING.Alright i have a computer called compac presario and i've had it since like 2000. I use internet explorer/at&t. Lately my computer has been acting slow. for example, when i turn it on and it gets tothe main screen i try to open windows explorer and it does something weird. I stays on a blank screen like it's loading for like 10 mins. It didn't use to do this so i guess i downloaded something bad. To speed up the loading screen i have to double click once on the little box thing at the bottom of the screen that shows what is opened. and then it loads but that takes like 1 min and a half. This isn't the only thing that takes long to open but it takes the longsest. I downloaded the free version of avg and did a full scan that took 1hr and 45 mins. This found two things called trojan horses and deleted both of them. But my computer still acts slow. Can someone please tell me how to remove all the trojans, viruses, adware spyware and all that stuff that messes it up fre

My specs: Sempron3000+ 2 GHz, 1GB DDR400 ram, EVGA FX5500 AGP. I want to upgrade video card. I see some reviews in the 7600GS "If u dont have at least DDR2 sys. ram and 2.33Ghz of cpu you won't get the max out of this card." Is this true? So if I get a 7600GT AGP or 7800GS AGP I *wont* see a difference with having to upgrade to a 7600GS AGP? I can go for any card.

As the title indicates, I'm looking at upgrading my computer's hardware for when Warhammer Online comes out. So far, I have an ATI Radeon 9100 Graphics card and 2 gig of ram that I'm satisfied with, but my computer is still pretty laggy when playing games. Should I look at upgrading the motherboard next? What would you suggest, and what procedure for doing so would you recommend?

I got this chip from a friends computer and I know it works, but it has a few bent pins, and it's missing 2 of its heatsink pads (the round black pads in the corners).

If I straighten the pins with plyers, would the chip still work?

And are the heatsink pads that important?
