D. Tech B is off just a bit. You see, the CONTROLLER for the hard drive is what is assigned the IRQ, not the drive itself.

As far as Tech a goes:Again, the driver controls the controller which controls the Hard disk.

D. both are incorrect. No specific device driver is needed, it comes with NT. Assignable IRQ's are not used for hardrives. Hardrives are taken care of through bios.
