I've got an lcd moniter. You can answer this question in two different ways; both preferably: in absolute terms, ie in kW, and in percentage terms, ie with respect to power use when screen is on.

Boy, that sentence stretched my command of punctuation

I have a Lexmark 5400 series, and I have a problem. I can send faxes, but for some reason I cannot receive them. I checked the phone line connection, and that was not the problem. I read the manual's troubleshooting section, and nothing worked. HELP PLEASE!!!

I think so.
$1200usd for a 2GB ram? no screen, no key board, just a fancy cover.
Thats what I bought from Best Buy for $800usd last year!
and it came with everything to play games!

My platform is windows xp. I specifically need information on the ports. I already tried System Info and Device Manager, but I didn't get very far.

here;s my rig:

AMD Athlon64 x2 4000+ (overclocked to 2.41ghz)
Asrock ALive NF6 - Vista
2x1Gb DDR2 533 Corsairs
256 NVidia 8500GT
250Gb Seagate Barracuda
Asus DVD-RW (lightscribe)

im looking to buy a new video card, i keep having problems w/ my Inno3d 8500GT, i keep having BSOD(stop error) so im replacing it with im not sure:
ATI Radeon 1650 or Palit NVidia 8500GT-Super
they both have 512mb VRAM and their specs are close, i wanna make sure i wont get anymore BSOD cuz i gotta focus on work (and games). anyways, if i buy the 1650, the guy at the store keeps telling me that 1650s are phasing out and old and i kind of dont trust him but im doubting 8500GT-Super cuz it's NVidia and it im afraid it might only give me endless BSODs, i've never had a problem w/ ATI video cards and drivers before so now im really confuse on w/c one to get. help anyone?

The HDD light is permenantly on.
It keeps making crunchy noises
My game had files mysteriously currupted, I tried reinstalling it from the files which are on my hd and it wouldnt work cos some of the files were corrupted.
I have had the hard drive for 3 years and I have never touched it or looked at it.
Could the reason for my corrupted files be HDD failure or are there other possible reasons?

Almost all external hard drives without power cords have a rotation speed of 5400 RPM or less. And the rare external hard drives without power cords that have a 7200 RPM have a ridiculously tiny amount of storage.

Also, why don't hard drives without power cords go above 200GB? What exactly is the power constraint?
