Way too expensive.

You can get a Lenovo (ex IBM PC division) ThinkCenter desktop for way less than that:

NO WAY!!!
Thats a jip.
Sounds like somethign you buy at a rent-a-computer place, that overcharge you on interest.

The processor and the RAM are outdated, or at least on the lower spectrum.

Think about it right now average PC RAM is 6400---yours has 3200
What type of video CARD does it have?
Not just video memory but VIDEO CARD?
Does the motherbaord have an AGP slot, AND/OR a PCI-E slot???

i could make that computer for like $300 bucks, minus the operating system
and get a generic 19"LCD for maybe $200 if I looked hard enough.

That is way too Expensive!
Heck I would prefer the ones they sell at Best Buy or Compusa or Circuit city with the rebates attached that ends up like $500 then the one some fool is hoping youll let them jip you with.

DONT BUY IT.
OFFER THEM $600 if everythings new and with 1 year manufacturers warranty.
SEE what they say.
Then point them to my response.

someones trying to take advantage of you!

P>S> keep in min that FLAT SCREEN is not the same Monitor as those thin small cool looking ones.
The one in your add is a giant CRT with a Flat not rounded screen to it. It weighs about 25 pounds.
just so you know!

YOU COULD ACTUALLY GET A MUCH BETTER LAPTOP FOR THAT PRICE!
WITH a 17inch Widescreen
FYI (17 inch CRT monitor viewing area is actually 16 inches -- an LCD or laptop screen is actual size)

HERES A DELL SPECIAL GOING ON 599 with a 19" LCD and much better system all around.
$599

That looks like a nice computer, but the price seems a little steep. My dad was able to get something comparable to that for roughly $700, and I believe he got a 17" flat panel monitor with it.
