is a computer contains DDR memory with support for
DDR PC2700,
DDR PC3200,
DDR PC4000 speeds

When shopping for new memory, do the PC numbers above make a difference, and if so, in what way ?

e.g. will PC4000 make my computer the fastest out of all 3 of them ?

Given the similar Ghz, Pentium D820 @ 2.8Ghz, Core2Duo @ 2.8Ghz (if there's is) and the new S series (S2160@1.6Ghz), w/c will give me the best bang for the buck. Also what mobo to go with it? Budget wise too, an Asus, ECS, Asrock, Gigabyte ?

According to the Device Manager, my sound card is working properly. My speaker is plugged into the correct jack; however, my computer is telling me that there is "No Audio Output Device installed". they're about t20 or 25. I want to open the case and try to tap gently on the drive as I believe the head is stuck. It did not make noises or burn up. It was shut down for a short time and just did not start back up. I've been to an appliance repair and a computer shop and they did not have a tip matching the screws. The unit is just out of warranty.
