When installing the windows setup, My system runs on 40 GB hard drive space, so I create partition and install in c drive leaving the D drive for saving of data, but when the installation is done I checked my computer and could only found the C drive. can anybody tell me where to go to search for the other space created?

I think you forgot to format the partition after creating it.
Just use the Disk Manager in windows -
Control Panel > Administrative Services> Computer Management

And format the partition.

What u have is 4 partitions. U could connect the the partitions to make a partition greater effective. Assuming u have C, D , E , F Ur option is to merge C and D to make a greater C partition. In domicile windows u could replica all the information in D to E & F. Then Delete D partion. Then upload the deleted partition to C. U could use windos disk administration. (U could specify OS for me to grant step training message me) There r apps which could merge the partitons for u with stable person interface in picture or mathematical mode. I recommend Acronis Disk Director.

Right click "My Computer" select MANAGE
Click "Local Disk Management"
Locate the "unpartitioned" space
Right click, create a prtition and then format it

right click my computer, click on manage, click on disk management, you probably just have to name and format the drive there

go to search option and there shows c,d. e drive option. you can search for d option and search and you woill get it.
