The PSU (and the MB) should come with all the cables you need, no worries.... No need to buy anything else.

you will need either IDE or SATA cables for the drives. most of the cables you will need to connect to the motherboard will be in the case, such as power button, reset button external usb ports. If your video card is PCIe you may need a power supply that has PCIe power connectors. also depending on the type of motherboard you will need a power supply with a 20 or 24 pin connector. And really that covers it. you don't need cables for the sound card, you will need a cooling fan for the CPU and that will plug into the motherboard. I would suggest going to a forum, like overclockers.net or bit-tech.com and asking in the forums for more specific help.
Also you cannot by any old CPU and motherboard. certain motherboards are only compatible with certain processors. same thing with your Ram.
take your time ask questions and pay attention or it could be an expensive mistake.

You either need IDE or SATA cables depending on what hard drive and cd-rom drive you will be using. You may also need a converter cable if you have a classic power supply and need to connect SATA drives to it. Thats typically pretty much all you would need to connect the inside of the computer. It doesn't sound like you have too much so your power supply should be fine, but if you want to be safe you may want to make so that the wattage is sufficient on it and MAKE SURE that it is set to 120V on the back switch before you connect it to the other stuff.
Then there is the external stuff like the two power cables for the computer and monitor. Any cable you need to connect your speakers to the sound card. A monitor cable to connect the monitor to the computer. And finally a keyboard and mouse to connect to the computer. That should do it.

Motherboard - secured to case with screws
Power Supply - usually comes with a power supply cable, and has built in cables to provide power to the motherboard, drives, etc.
Hard Drive - You'll need a suitable IDE or SATA cable for data transfer, your HDD might be supplied with one. Power provided by power supply.
Cd Drive - You'll need a suitable IDE cable. Power provided by power supply. Optional: A sound cable to hook up direct to the sound card.
Sound Card - See CD drive. Otherwise it just plugs in to your motherboard. You'll need the audio cables on your speakers of course, or something to connect it to whatever audio output you're using.
Video Card - Just plugs in. You'll need either a VGA or DVI cable for a monitor.
Cpu - Plugs right into the motherboard.

No offense, but if you are building this computer yourself and you do not know what cables are needed, then you are way over your head.
You should read up some more on how to actually build a computer before you attempt to do so, otherwise you risk destroying your components.
Here are a few links.
