is there anywhere I can find a program that autamaticly updates my drivers for free?

I just got a new memory for my computer. After i put it in, my computer keeps randomly restarting. Does anyone know the reason why? Do i need to change something in BIOS? I had 500 mb of memory and got a 1 gb more. Also, i have windows XP if it makes any difference. Thanks for your help

I went into DxDiag (the Directx Control panel thing) and it says i have DX10. I also have a Windows vista Computer i purchased from dell. Its a C521, a little out Dated. AMD 64 3500 Single Core, 1 GB Ram, 7.1 Channel sound card.

I cant even get a straight answer about the card, i think it has 512mb Ram.

How can I type letters from slovak alphabet, in my yahoo e-mail messages?

I have an english qwerty keyboard.
I would like to type slovak letters.
I have windows vista anytime on my computer.

Is there some way I can change some of settings, for some of the keys on my computer and store slovak letter keys?

I want to buy an intel core duo processor to upgrade my computer but I don't want to change my existing ram and graphics card.
So I need a motehrboard with intel core duo, DDR1 ram and AGP support.

I put a CD in and it says please insert disk. Is there anyway I can fix it? I know this seems like my other question but I am really in need of fixing something since if I install the drive from the website it'll take 583 minutes *seriously*. I have dial up :-( Please help me fix my drive. Also can you return a printer if you have a receipt and you installed everything like the ink but it wont work?

I am in dire need of a new mother board, but only one, I need to replace the one in my computer, so I know since I'm getting a new MB might as well add some RAM, and a faster chip (is the Pentium 4 2.4 GHz hyper threaded still decent, i have it running now, but i think I want dual CPU) Anyway, what is a good MB that I can get that will hold 4 gigs of ram, and I believe has 6 slots for my add-ons if I am correct. Please give me ideas, newegg and tigerdirect are just giving me too many options and I haven't upgraded in years...

When do the Bios parameters for the new processor have to be entered? Do they have to be input with the old processor, saving them, turning off the the system and then switching in the new processor? My problem is that the old Cpu is defective (2 broken pins). At present with the new Cpu plugged in, there is no Post and I can't enter Bios setup mode.

What in the computer uses 3.3v?

The last few weeks my computer has been having serious locks,the computer freezes and wont budge.
When i restart the computer it tells me to go to the bios thats theres something wrong with the *voltage,fan speed or something else*

When i get to the power supply the 3.3v reading is red and reads 4.8.I disconected a fan and that brought the figure down a little but its still red although the computer doesnt lock as often.
I have a 500w PSU which i thought would be adequit but when it locks the whole Psu unit is very hot.

I have an asus motherboard but have been unable to install the software because vista sucks sometimes.
any help is appreciated,

Do i just need to buy a stronger Psu?

for some reason my pc is running in 640x480 pixels-16 colors. when i try to change setting to 800x600-256 colors it doesn't take. pc restarts back in 640x480. what else can i do?

How do you get the mouse to turn off when the computer is shut down?

The computer is not in stand-by but shut off. The mouse and keyboard are not activated for waking the computer. I've tried all of the power control options. All options for just shut down have been selected.

Any ideas?

I have basically deleted all of the programs that didn't come with the computer, but still there is no space. Can I delete the windows backup utility(whatever that is), or will that ruin everything?

I posted this in the wrong section and got no answers so I'm reposting this. I was typing on my laptop when all of the sudden the key popped out. I kept trying to put it back on but the key didn't work as good as it did before. I took it off again and noticed that the little tan part under the key was broken. I examined it and tried to put it back but it would work. I realized that it's just the little tan part that is the problem. So my question is: where can I get a new piece to connect me key. If you don't know what this is I'm sorry but I don't know what to look for or what it's called. Please help.

One of mouse mouse buttons were 'sticky' when pressing it. I gave it a bath in water. Will this help the clicking? Is my mouse dead now? Will a get a shock if I try to use it again?

I just reformatted my laptop, on d format option, i formatted all partitions..after re-installing windows, i dnt have sound anymo, in the device manager, there is a yellow exclamation mark in network controller, pci devices, vga controller and ethernet controller..what should i do????
