Errr, if you completely immersed it in water it might be dead. It's best to open it up and clean it if you have to! As long as it's definitely dry you should be alright to use it but it's 50/50 if it'll still work...

That was Not a Good Idea!
Do not Use it until it Dries Out completely and then Try it.
Use Alcohol to Clean electronics, as it Evaporates Quickly, and Desolves Oil, which is likely in most Dirt on a Mouse.

Well it depends did u soak or dip the whole mouse in the water.If so it might be jammed.If u tryed to take i apart then clean it out with computer cleaning supplys then u ahould be okay.Computer supplys that can be used is cloths that look like big pieces of toilet paper that is made for electronics.Then you should be okay .

They're pretty cheap these days. I just saw an optic laser on at publix for 10 bucks, so Best Buy likely has them for 5. Spring and get a new one!

it's ok to wash your mouse and keyboard with water, ytou just have to let them dry very well afterwards.
I clean all of mine with soap and water.

Most likely, but you never know. don't use it until it dries completely, then give it a shot. if it's dead, then they are very cheap at your local computer store.
