You can fax any graphic. It will be subject to the usual loss of quality due to the format of fax data.

Yes a JPG can be faxed, but you must set up your fax first and have the computer phone modem connected.

Go to...
START> All Programs> Accessories> Communications> Fax (and set it up)

When the fax is setup, use it the same as you would a printer. When you have the JPG ready to send, click FILE> Print and in the print dialogue box switch the printer to FAX and continue as you normally would to print. The fax software will appear when you click OK.

Remember that faxes are pure black & white (not grayscale).

A better method of sending a JPG would be via e-mail attachment.
