Well, you COULD switch to an operating system like Linux, where hard drives do not require defragmentation. Seriously.

But if you're going to stick with Windows, the question is, what defragmenting program are you using?

Because Windows-based defraggers cannot move or defragment files or folders that are in use, it's difficult to get a COMPLETE defgrag... unless you use something like Paragon Partition Manager, which can defrag a drive as part of the boot process.

YOur defrag meter is set too low.

Maybe because the defragmentation process didnt complete.
