Microsoft Word (and I am sure many others) do this without having to add extra software. Simply use Speach Tools (which are built into Widows) It takes a little bit of time to train the voice recognition algorhythms but so do the other programs like Dragon Naturally Speaking. BTW Dragon Naturally Speaking is a very good Voice Recognition software if you feel like you need to by an extra software program.

You need a program to do that. Dragon naturally speaking is used by alot of arthritis sufferers that I know. You might to ask your physical therapist. Vista has a rudimentary speech to text program in "accessabilities", but it is not full featured, its only meant to help people, not replace the kb, mouse like dragon can do.
