the lights are ON (similarly as standby ). also sometype of sound is also coming from the cpu, and when i tends the cpu horizontally, it runs good. Is there any problem with SMPS or Processor?

i have a 256 RAM and all of a sudden in systems it shows as 96 RAM....i waz really puzzled and did a system restore and then restarted the PC...then at control panel it shows back again as 256 RAM

so can you plz tell me what happened to my PC.........

i need to double my ram but am unsure of what type to buy. the only information i have sn the sticker which is already on the currently installed ram which is, 512 ddr 266mhz cl2.5. i have looked on ebay for this but then they ask for more info such as is it pc2100 etc. help

sticker on bios chip reads phoenix bios d686 phoenix 1998 273035560

cpu= athlon 64 x2 4200+

mem.=k-byte ddr2 pc4200 1gb x2

hdd=maxtor 160gb sata 2

video=radeon x800xl pcie 256mb

on boot up w/o video card i get 1 long beep

w/video card i get Foxconn screen with setup options, but no responce to keyboard (any keyboard)

will not boot from hdd, cd, floppy, etc. cannot get into setup, clear cmos seems to have no effect

purchased this board from reseller on e-bay claiming Foxconn would honor a 3 year warrenty, he claims no libility.
I just want my board to work, any ideas? Does this sound like there is a corrupt bios or no bios?

I bought this video editing program for my computer that i need by this friday because i am editing a video and it says that i need 512mb of physical memory and i only have 191mb i used the backup thing on my coputer.(it makes it start like it's new but it does not work HELP!!!!

i was trying to install a game to my pc.. and suddenly the monitor went blank. but my cpu still running..i guess.. i checked my monitor cabel.. it's well connected..(monitor OK)..then when i tried to run it again.. i heard the fan went fine, dvd rom ok.. but still got blank monitor..it's seem like it's could not start my window.. huh!!

Because the QX6700 and the X6700 cost about $1000. Whats up with that? But I'm wondering because the extreme processor is the best upgrade available at the moment for anyone with a 775 socket in their motherboard. So if I get a computer equipped with the Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 / 2.13 GHz, with a 775 socket, will I be able to get an even better processor in the future? Whats going to be new thats coming out? Is there any performance difference between Pentium 4 with 533FSB vs 800FSB? Is there any links in comparison. Given exactly same clock which would be faster and by how much? Its just that I got free computer but the processor was bad.This mobo supports 400/533/800 FSB bus 478pin cpu,so I am curios which one should I go for.
