i have a problem with my cpu. it turned off whenever i press the power button for ON.?

the lights are ON (similarly as standby ). also sometype of sound is also coming from the cpu, and when i tends the cpu horizontally, it runs good. Is there any problem with SMPS or Processor?

It could be your CPU heatsink fan. That's the only sound that will come from the CPU region of the motherboard.

If you hold down the on button, the typical normal behavior is to turn the system off.

Hi. Sounds like that usually indicate a rotating part is failing, possibly a fan but more likely a hard drive.
