What is the Pentium or Intel-Celloron equivalent to the AMD Turion 64 x 2 TL-50 (1.6GHz/512KB)? I dont quite keep up with the whole AMD things, but I was planning on buying a new laptop so, I need to know. And, would this be good in a notebook? Vista or XPP?

It will be fast. AMD when put next to an Intel processor with equivelent or near equivelent specs will have a higher benchmark.(Your OS will run faster) Intel is a rip-off, go with the AMD. Also go with windows XP unless you have lots of ram (at least 1+ gig), Vista is very ram intensive and will slow down your PC.
