I just bought some Cerwin Vega speakers model # Re-30. They are rated at 4ohms and 250 watts. I am planning on listening to music from my PC, I have a Creative labs Xtreme Music sound card. Looking for the best way to run these speakers without blowing up anything. Got the speakers on ebay for $100 and hoping to find a fairly inexpensive solution to power them. Any ideas???

Hi. If you have a receiver you can use it's amp. Any good audio amp should work although you may never need 250 watts. An 80 watt receiver will bu plenty loud because the CVs are noted for being efficient. Good luck!
