Crystal CS4299 i have this on broad card i had ME now i have xp but can not find drivers where can i get drivers for xp ..if i cna't get any any similar ones i can get ,,,.,.,

I asked this yesterday, but didn't really get a real good answer. What is the best gaming processor, I am looking for something around $350 or less. Thats just for the processor, not including everything else.

i've had my laptop for about 2.5 years. it doesnt run as good as it used to.

--when i turn it on, i get a prompt that says somthing like "symantec auto protect unable to load"
--sometimes the desktop will not show up at all. no icons, no start menus. the only way i can get it to work is by the Alt-Ctrl-Del funtion, and then running the C: drive, which i get a prompt like "the file C:\blahblahsomethingorothernonsense" cannot be found. then my start menu and desktop icons will show up.
--my AOL application often shuts off/disconnects by itself.
--last week, i got a blue screen of death (havent seen that in a while)
--generally runs slower (longer for applications to open and run)
--often makes a loud buzzing noise (like a fan on high speed)

how do i eliminate some of this so i can make my pc run a little quicker? i dont want to reinstall XP again.

I just installed a new Soundblaster X-Fi audio card and I'm now getting a code 12 resource error on the video card, which is a Nvidia 6600. My motherboard is a ga81sxt made by Gigabyte for Fujitsu Siemens. The computer is a Scaleo 600. I've gone to the website and there doesn't seem to be a BIOS update. I have 2 gb of RAM, if that helps.

Would you be able to connect two mother boards to the same computer since i need one mother board for certain things and the other one has the ATA connectors for my harddrive. Please help any information would be great. Thanks

My friend says that he found out he has another card slot on his computer, a Pci with an out-of-date card and an empty Pci-e card slot. So, what I want to know is, is there a way to find out if your computer has another card slot without having to look into the computer or will I have to open the casing to look and see?

I just purchased a new HP with an Athlon 3800+ dual core processor. When I try to run my games (Madden 07) they do not work properly. EA SPORTS told me that I need to run the game in compatability mode for Windows XP. When I do this the game will not load. I have been told that it is b-cuz i have a dual core and that i need to disable one of the processors.

I have a new computer. It will play DVDs, but when I try to install a new program from a CD-Rom, the computer doesn't do anything. It should auto install. Then when I look in MY computer, it says E:DVD. When I click it open, it doesn't show anything that is on the disk.

I opened up the computer after taking it to my service provider for not being able to write DVD's and CD's on it ,and it made a horrible noise from within.They cleaned the Cd-writer ,but it was damaged in the first place.
Now everything is ok ,but I still wonder what that noise was .

It's Currently running at 100 MHz, and I know it will run at 133 MHz, I just can't figure out how to do it. The Bios won't let me change it, and I don't know enough about the board to start moving jumpers.

Can anyone help? I have just bought a Pentuim 4 3.6GHZ 4Gb DDR 400 memory bundle. All seems fine except when I connect either of my Sata drives, they are both 250gb and were used yesterday on my other pc. the problem is that when i connect them i get safe mode choices but computer will not boot up. i have made sure all the jumpers and connectors are correct, Will I need to reinstall windows? is this because the previous computer was a AMD? and the configuartion are differant. Please help Cheers
