Run stinger ...Free from McAfee website. Secondly, You can also run Adware also free. After running those two, you will likely clear alot of crap out.

Do you mean "contiguous"? If so, why? Those are good and doing so would mean you want to fragment your drive. Not many people, if any, want to do that. 8=]

If you mean "contagious", well that's another story. You should have a anti-virus software for doing that. (Nod32, Norton, McAfee, etc.) Once loaded, use that software to remove the file.

You can format your hard drive. My brother talked me through it over the phone once, i even wrote it down, but i lost it. so you'll have to find someone you think might know how.
