iv took the hard drive out in tried to put the other one back in .and it says RPL-ROM-FFC: with the number 5 flashing it goes up to 1 2 3 4 and then 5 is flashing like it seems like its waiting for you to press something before it gets to 5 please can anyone help please urgent

Hi, I have a WINDOWS Me computer...a little while back, I had tooken off its Hard drive and installed it on a new computer, but my brother somehow erased everything on that hard-drive...Now, I installrd it back on the Windows ME, when I turn it on, it turns on, but nothing happens...ANYONE AND EVERYONE...PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS PROBLEM...THANXS

Which is better Video Card x1950xt 512MB VS 8800GTS 320MB?
They both cost $300.The 8800GTS has directx 10 compability but x1950xt doesnt(who cares about it now anyway).The x1950xt has more memory.But What about performance which is faster?Which one do you think I should get?

I've had this motherboard for nearly 2 years with no problems. It has been fine with my Athlon XP 3200 CPU until recently.

Now, for some reason, my XP 3200 is reported in my BIOS and Windows as an XP 1900. I can see what the problem is, it won't let me have a 200 FSB anymore, but I can't figure out why. It tells me my FSB can go from 133 to 165 in increments of 1.

It picks my DDR 400 up fine but not my CPU. I've tried flashing the bios, using fail-safe defaults and optimized defaults in my BIOS, but to no avail.

I've removed the HSF, cleaned the HSF and CPU, applied new thermal compund and reseated the CPU, but still it comes up as an XP 1900.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

In Windows XP if you go to control panel and select Performance and maintenence then adjust visual effects rhen go to the Advanced tap and look under Virtual memory. What is the difference between that and the physical RAM you could for example buy from Circuit City.

I just got a new wireless keyboard and was wondering if anyone could help me to get all the buttons to do what I want. I have gone to Control Panel and done it through there but still can't get the volume buttons(mainly) to change the volume for my computer, it's like it doesn't change the volume for anything.

I have XP PRO SP2 / hard drive space is about 76 GB. with 90% free.also i have 127MB of RAM.

I just got a new PC:
- ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
- Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor
- CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
- EVGA 256-P2-N615-TX GeForce 7600GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card

And I want to transfer a RAID1 array (2 250GB WD Caviars) from my old pc (running an AMD athlon XP 32-bit chip on an Asus a7n8x-e deluxe motherboard).
I just want to transfer the drives and use them as data drives, not OS drives.
Would it be possible to transfer the hard drives without breaking the RAID array and losing all the data?

a 3.00 Ghz pc - is it really needed when next year they will release a 4Ghz version. If they wanted to they could pump up the power of processors and all parts 100 fold, but they dont cause they want to make money by slow drips... as people will want to keep up with the latest stuff. I have an Intel Core Duo on my laptop. I looked up its speed using dxdiag and I found that I had a:

T2400 @ 1.83 GHz (2 CPUs)

My question: Does this mean 1.83GHz for each CPU, or 1.83 GHz total? Thanks in advance.

I stay in India, and in India, long power cuts are common. Due to this, many times, my PC crashes. Alternatively, I am not able to see important Cricket Matches due to long power cuts. Most UPS has only a backup of 30 minutes or so, which is clearly insufficient in India.
