I'm a big fan of the Asus motherboards. I go through computers like socks, and Asus has never given me problems. The heat control is good also.

Well, I'm sure your familiar with the specifications on these boards (I am not) but I am very aware of brand name. Asus delivers on what it promises and has the fewest issues.

I have had a "gaming rig" for quite some time now, and I only run Asus or Intel for system boards. This is also true for servers. They are reliable which meets my specification that "A good motherboard is one that you cannot remember the model number"

Asus also had some agreements with Nvidia about graphics cards so I would be thinking about using one of their boards if you are going to use one of Nvidia's cards. You will find that they are flawless together.

Since you are buying a high end system, be sure to check into DDR3 ram, Asus boards are picky about it. Corsair works well and I usually start my search there.

Hope that helps.
