very simple takes only seconds. right click on my computer if you do not have this icon on your desktop then click start and you will find it there. so right click on my computer then left click on properties on the screen that appers it will tell you all you need to know (usually close to the bottom) it will tell you the type, and speed of your processor and the amount of RAM . by any chance it doesnt show you at the top you will see alot of tabs , you will need to select general. but this should be the one that opens . Hi there
Go to your start menu click on control panel and select system if your control panel is set to classic view or performance and maintenance then system if your control panel view is set to category view. The amount of RAM will be displayed here along with other information.

First go to the My Computer icon right click it > Properties click it
and if you are using Windows XP the info of your Pc should be down on the properties window.

just right click my computer icon - > properties -> it shows what operating system you installed and how much ram you have.

Assuming you have Windows XP:
1. Right-click on "My Computer" and click "Properties"
2. Under "Computer:" it will tell you your processor, processor speed, and how much memory you have.
