this is the scenario:

this incident happend very often in my pc,

i have 2 memory slotted w/ 256 each, they have different model, i;m not sure what the models are but to make it clearly one is like PC300 and the other PC133.

but the pc can only detect 256 RAM during bios and even when u check with the "mycomputer" properties.

whenever i'm using adobepagemaker,photoshopCS2, YM, and some windows, sometimes the PC reboot so sudden, but sometimes it doesnt.

another instance: i tried to add up some PC themes like screensavers, falling snow on my desktop, no windows active even YM. then the pc reboot again.

another: when i'm watching in youtube,,, sometimes after or even when while watching the pc reboot. but most of the time it happens as soon as i click the "back & close

then today i installed typer shark, i managed to play it in a while, but when i decided to close the window, exactly as i click the mouse to the "X" of the windows,,,the pc reboot. sigh... please help

I plug it in and it makes the beep sound and the light in the USB turns on..and this message on my screen appears saying that a new hardware has been detected...I go to "My Computer" and it isn't there...I went to the Panel Control>Hardware and it wasn't there....I tried the troubleshooter and nothing happened :( .... In the corner of the screen appears the sign to safely remove the drive and appears under the name of USB Mass Storage Device.
I have Windows XP and the drive is a "iomega" drive......Please help! ....and it would be great if u can explain it to me without using too many "geeky" terms .....THX! <3

First I converted this MP3 to AVI, then I tried by converting it into Wave and then again MP3, still it does not play at Saachi MPE Player. Can u help please??

All of a sudden my "Tab" key & "Page Up" & "Page Down" buttons don't work. Did I do something or hit a wrong key to make this happen?
It is just a normal internet keyboard - nothing fancy.

my internet isnt running slow and weird.
now I got this one thingy saying "Windows- virtual memory mininum too low." saying that some things were gonna be denied. I was trying to save. what does this mean? anyone know?

My computer became usless yesterday when some sort of error made it useless let me explain:
The graphics look like those fro W95 those really ugly and they like really awful also the mouse is no longer avaliable it just doesn't apear on the screen the only way to control it is by using the arrows and is really anoying please I need help here's some info about the computer

Unknown file downloaded it by mistake
It fell one day before the whole mess start it

Sound card: Sound Blaster Audigy SE
Comp: HP Pavilion a305w
Will it fit in my computer? It says it's PCI, but it has 3 sections on the card and my comp only has two. If it can someone please tell me how.

I have a CD Drive (CD-RW/DVD Combo Drive) in my computer. But my computer case came with a cool plastic for it (the flappy kind). So how do i take the plastic off? Included is a picture of the Cd Drive, and the new plastic i want on it.

My computer is branded with an 80 gig hard drive, it even says it on the outside of the computer on the sticker. But when I go to "My Computer", it says that I have two hard drives, one called ACER (the brand of my computer) has a total of 34.5 gig in all. The other, called ACERDATA has 35 gigs on it, none used. Why is this? Are the two supposed to add up to 80? What the heck? I hope I didn't buy a crummy computer!

my pc is running soooo sluggish when i play in yahoo games,or any games,it has run great before and when it does its lovely , i know about the lagging ,but i think thats not it ,i've cleared all the cache in places i can think of,but still no joy,it takes a while to get into a room and on tables,and the sounds doesnt keep up too,,please help!!!!!, it's sooo annoying,

Help! My computer won't run. It goes to the Windows XP loading stage, but then it stops at a blue screen and it says:

"STOP: c0000218 {Registry File Failure}
The registry cannot load the hive (file):

my laptop was running very slowly. the cpu usage was always at about 80-90% so i deleted a bunch of stuff one night. i obviously deleted important things too since i now have no sound and no icons. i have to access everything via "control-alt-delete" window. is there anyway i can restore the things i need???

i was using my computer one day,and all of a sudden my screen went black.so i switched to my onboard grafix and it worked again.but when i went to go online my wireless card didnt work either.i have tried all the slots and nothing worked..i tried an old agp grafix card and that worked..what would cause my pci slots to quit?.......its a brand new motherboard...i would give more info but not sure really what to say other than my pci slots jsut stopped..
