Using HDD as virtual RAM will SLOW your machine, rather than speed it up. If you're short on memory, throw an extra stick of RAM in.

Any time you have to swap to your HD for 'RAM' is a bad thing. HD access is MUUUUUCH slower than RAM access. Virtual RAM is not good. Just buy more ram for a performance boost.

you dont need a program to allocate more vram to your computer.
Right click MY COMPUTER>properties>advanced>performance:settings
from that menu you can increase or decrease the amount of virtual memory, or have windows do it for you. this kind of memory is much slower than your standard memory. you should just go out and buy memory www.4allmemory.com
