It means you have 600Mb of space on your hard drive that is not presently in use. You don't have a lot of space on your hard drive to store photos, movies or anything else you'd like to keep!

I'd have thought it was perfectly obvious......... it means that there is only 600MB (just over 0.5GB) of data storage capacity left on your computer's hard drive............ if your PC gets below a certain amount of hard drive space, it'll usually act up to the point where you want to throw it out the nearest window.
I suggest you start uninstalling programs / games you no longer use, empty the "Temporary Internet Files" folder (and make sure it hasn't become corrupted), and if you have lots of images from a digital camera on there I suggest you transfer them all to CD-ROM / DVD-ROM disks, or get a larger 2nd hard drive fitted for storing all your files on to free up some space on the main hard drive.
If you're unfamiliar with the old Internet Explorer corrupted cache trick, here's an article on it:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
Usual symptom I had on my last PC when it happened is the Temporary Internet Files Folder (usually in C:\Windows) shows there's nothing in it, yet when you right click on the folder and select properties to view the size of the folder it shows as being several Gigabytes (GB) in size.

MB MEGABYTES they are like a measurement of space. that is how much left to use, like if u want to dawnload music and 1 song is 3mb then it will take that away from the 600MB of the hard drive. so it is amount of memory left in ur computer, if u use it all u use it all.

It means you waited much too long to be asking these kinds of questions. Run the Disk Cleanup utility: start > programs > accessories > system tools. Then run the Add/Remove Programs utility in the Control Panel, and remove some programs you haven't been using, and could do without. IF you have 15% of your total disk size available as free-space after doing all this, defragment your disk using Disk Defragmenter in start > programs > accessories > system tools.
Good luck

It means that you have some disk space left. You have exactly 629,145,600 bytes left. Or it means that you have way too much files on your computer. Try to delete some you don't need.
