If your pictures were deleted, then you may use Ontrack Data Recovery 6. Non free, commercial.

if this is a windows computer just go to the recycle bin and click on them and hit restore.
acually thats a lame answer
there are software programs to recover deleted files that have been emptied from the recycle bin.

the thing is as soon as the files are deleted they can be overwriten so the less you use your computer the better the chance of recovery.
