Is it a USB keyboard? Try unplugging it and plugging it back in again.

It could be that something's stuck under the keys (my 'G' key has trouble sometimes), but that seems unlikely because more than one key has gone bad. Try turning the keyboard upside down and blasting it with canned air.
Is it an older keyboard? Older keyboards tend to just wear out. Hop down to a computer store and pick up a new one for $10.

Something to do with filter keys you have to cancel it. You must have held a key down to long.Page Up/Page Down Keys Are Locked
Your "Scroll Lock" function may be engaged. Press the Scroll Lock Key once. Just looked in my "start" menu- go to "accessability options" in "Start" then look under "Sticky Keys" and "Filter Keys" if one of them is on, say "Filter Keys" and you held your key down to long it will lock the keyboard! So you have to go to Accessability and then Filter Keys and turn off that command. Hope this helps.
Letters on Keyboard Don't Work
Check to see if there are any obstructions to the keys. If other keys work, then your keyboard is going bad and needs to be replaced.

You should check the cable first. I usually unplug it and plug it back in to do this. You should also restart the computer. If this does not help the next step is to try a known working keyboard. If that keyboard works in the machine then it is simply time to replace the keyboard.

Keyboards form part of the user interface and a keyboard problem can be very annoying. Sometimes the keyboard drivers can get corrupted. Some of the problems can be fixed . I have found the details given at http://fixit.in/keyboard.html is more useful.
