Hi,

Let me start with defining what Virtual Memory (VM) is. Virtual memory, is a file on your hard drive that Windows and applications use in addition to physical memory (RAM) as needed. Your problem is probably caused by having too many applications (software) concurrently running whilst you're trying to save. If your PC system doesn't have enough RAM (memory), you will encounter this problem if you are doing too many things at once. Also another common cause is due to poorly design applications that is "draining" a lot of VM. An excellent website that has great information on how to solve this problem can be found at http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_can_i_fix_too_little_virtual_memory_in_windows.html

this has nothing to do with hard drive. or maybe yes.
the virtual memory is something useing ur hard disk drive.
but it works as if it is a memory stick.

you can adjust your virtual memory's size in
control panel - system.
or you can just do it by right-clicking 'my computer' icon and
clicking the 'referrences'.
and open the 'details' tab(i'm not sure the name is right. because I am korean and i am using Korean version windows. but i can be sure it's the 4th tab:) ).
upper part is about the VIRTUAL MEMORY.
and then you can see where you can adjust the minimum virtual memory.
If your computer's memory is 1Gb, ideal virtual memory size will be 1024(min) - 4096(max).

Have a good day!

More often then not it means your computer is running low on memory or you're running too many programs for what the computer can handle. You can try increasing your memory, depending on your system.
