I plan on buying a new graphics card, and am wondering how I would remove the one that came with the computer, and put the new one in. The computer I have is a Windows XP, and it came with an Integrated ATI RADEON XPRESS 200, and am going to put a GeForce FX 5500AGP 256 MB into it instead. Anyone know how?

I'm looking into buying a new graphics card but I don't know how many watts my computer currently uses.

I looked on the back of the tower and the sticker said this:
"Raiting 100-127/200-240V ~, 6A/3A, 50/60Hz". Could someone explain to me what all this means? And can this be used to determine the watts my computer uses or would I have to take off the case and peek inside for that information?

I wanted to upgrade my motherboard... Can I just plug everything (that is compatible) into it and it run? Or do I have to format windows and install?

If my USB device (iPOD) is plugged in when I power up my PC, the system hangs. I don't believe it is a boot device issue because the system does not even get to the power on self test. If I then unplug the device, the system remains hung. If I turn power on without the device plugged in, the PC boots fine. I can then plug the device in once the OS boot sequence begins. This workaround is not practical for me.

It is an old Dell PC with a Phoenix BIOS (dated around 1994).

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have been a faithful Intel user for a while and mostly because I'm not sure how AMD works. they don't seem to ever have the GHz measurment on them. what is the order of them? (ex: Celeron, Pentium 1, pentium 2 pentium 3.... and so on, except in AMD) what is AMD's version of the Core 2 Duo, and is it better than Intel's?
