gee thanks, went to the control panel, mouse control .it was set on med., put it on slow. i would hate to see what fast would be. thanks

Depends if you are using it on a laptop with one of those touch pads. In that case, you won't be able to change the speed of the mouse.
If it's on a PC then go to start -> control panel and select the mouse option. You can change the speed there.

Go to your control panel and then to your mouse options, there you can set the speed of the mouse pointer to fit what your preference is.

Click on the options tab or go to the help tab and select
configurations or just read the manual that came with the mouse.
