Greetings, i am having a major problem here please help

HP A1620
Pen. D with ViiV Tech.
HDD: Samsung 200GB
Processor 3.0G
RAM: 1GB

What happenz is that after the BIOS, when the windows icon appears, it just keep on loading. I am assuming that something is wrong with the hard drive.

i have a 305 watt power supply with 2 hdd, 2 dvd drives,the basic stuff, and a graphics card inside my dell5150? Could i fry anything not having a big enough psu? what could happen if its not big enough?

What do i need to buy..apparently i need more memory on my computer so can i just go buy more memory or does it have to be by the same manufactor and the same kind that is in there? My comp has 512 MB DDR SD RAM. Do i need to buy the same size memory (512).Also when i do get another do i just put it in with the other memory stick ..sorry i know nothing about this.

I just uninstall a game which is still beta.. then after that.. my interent explorer cant be display.. it say lost some add on component.. it also affect msn messenger.... beside that my computere component seem to be lost.. like i cant run "search" and "system restore" what should i do now? should i reformat my whole computer? i need my computer urgently... every component of my file seem lost regarding to the windows...

its one of my 3pc's and the slowest my otrher 2 are a 2.4ghz p4 and a 3.4ghz p4 but I like this one 2!

933mhz CPU coppermine 256kb L2 high speed
512mb PC133
128mb Radeon 9600se
DVD burner
100gb
Its about 6 1/2 years old and havent really matinaced it Never changed the theraml grease just added a few things never really cleaned it thourhoughly I play good games on it like Underground etc that it can run and it gets pretty hot but I have never chnaged a fan on reapplied the grease its it has a cpu fan,case fan,Motherboard fan,PSU fan whihc is 500watts if i countinue using ti this way no cleaning etc no reapplying the theraml grease how long will the cpu last how many years?

Bought a new GPU and Now it won't fit there is a motherboard power connector blocking the way. Can i trim the corner of the GPU to clear the connector? What do i do?

I have 4 slots and I have:
2 - 1 GB DDR2 PC2 5100 Installed right now. According to crucial.com

If I add 1 - 512mb DDR2 PC2 5100
and
If I add 1 - 256mb DDR2 PC2 3200

Then all the ram will only run at PC2 3200?

And that is slower right?

So I should only add the 512mb right?

I recently upgraded my 80GB hard drive to a 250GB hard drive and ever since then my computer takes like 10 min to start and is randmly shutting down when I am in the middle of soemthing. I also tryed connecting my 80GB back in and the same things are happening.

When I go to control panel then appearance and themes then change the desktop background it will not let me do it. I can still choose a screensaver but it will not let me choose a background. What is wrong with it?? It will not even let me click on it but it will let me do a screensaver.
