I have my entire dvd collection (about 70 dvd's)saved on an external hard drive as .iso files. Does anyone know if Front row will recognize the .iso format, or do i need to convert the image files to another format? I am considering buying a mac mini and was just curious. Thanks

Hi all, I have two desktops connect by a router, and i am using DSL online services. I would just want to know how come the desktop A is slower when loading pages or doing some other online activities than desktop B, isn't it they should have same speed? and i also want to know if one desktop let's say infected by virus or spyware, will there be any effect to the another desktop? are they totally independent or what?

I am planning on purchasing a computer for my grandma who wants a computer. I am thinking about a Mac because the mouse only has one button, which I think would be less confusing for her. However, which interface would be better and easier for her? She would use it for word processing, e-mail, and surfing the web. Explain.

okay, heres the thing - i was planning a rig with an R600 when it comes out - so to find out i decided to check if the 8800GTX fits in the Gigabyte 3D Aurora (which is my planned case) - but it doesnt!
so another case caught my eye - Thermaltake Tsunami - i heard that an 8800GTX fits in with 0.1mm clearance, which is no issue since the R600 is supposedly smaller.
But heres the deal -
does anybody know the perfect case? ~$200
the perfect awesome flawless case -
and tell me if the Tsunami is good enough
thanx alot

I have this strange noise coming from my computer. It sounds a lot like a chirping cricket. It's a brand new Compac Presario. The thing is.....my old computer, a Dell, made the same noise. I thought at first that the kids must have downloaded a nature type of theme but I checked. NO nature anything. What could this noise be and how can I get rid of it?

I have a desktop that I built myself. I have an Asus motherboard and a 2.8 proccessor. I have an Nvidia 256 video card and a
300 gig maxtor hard drive. Recently my computer keeps shutting down and restarting itself. Everytime it does i let it run scan disc
but usually no probs are found. I ran anti virus but no virus found.
I have a spyware killer and ran that but found no spyware.
The error report keeps saying Device Driver Error, but all my device drivers have been updated and are ok. Every now and then when it starts up it goes to a blue screen that says
DRIVER_IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
It usually shuts down when I play media files or games. Sometimes when I am just typing or on the internet.
I thought it was running to hot, so I increased my fan speed
and disabled the temp shutdown feature, but it still does it.
Any idea of whats wrong?
