When trying to connect a pc to the wireless router it will not connect.
If I use my dongle which came with the unit it works fine, but my laptop has a wireless card and always comes up with 'limited connectivity'
I have checked all the passwords and such but have been told by a friend that I should get a different router as the Virgin media one only allows one I.P. address.

Is this correct or do I need to contact Virgin Media?

I want to connect it to my xbox 360 and then have it connect to my wireless access point. I guess I need it to act as a wireless-ethernet bridge. Does anyone know if I need to configure the settings to be able to do this or if I can just plug it in and have it work right from the start and how would i configure them?

I have a ADSL modem that connects to my PC via a USB cable. I want to go wireless without getting an ADSL Wireless Router/Modem but using my Netgear wireless router(no modem). I have enabled ICS on my pc and when I plug the ethernet cable from it to my laptop, I can access the net from the laptop. However, when I connect the PC to my wireless router, I cannot get onto the internet from my laptop. I can connect to the wireless network but no internet. WHY?

In my laptop LAN settings (in IE),I have enabled it to automatically detect settings. This is the setting it works on when I bypass the router and plug the ethernet cable directly into it from my PC. My router too has been configured to automatically detect settings...

The other thing is that I can access my router's configuration page by typing in www.routerlogin.net on my laptop.this however works for a couple of minutes then stops working. I can't access the settings anymore.just get the 'this page cant be displayed' error.HELP

I would like to create a small home intranet (local area website)for myself/my house. Please let me know the best way to implement a calendar and feedback form (that is, when the form is submitted the results are sent to a folder on my computer).

I am using/have Macromedia Dreamweaver 8, Microsoft FrontPage 2003 & Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows XP Professional.

I am using IIS to host the website.

This is more for fun than anything else.

Thank-you for your suggestions.

I purchased a Netgear Wireless G router? I have a desktop PC but want to be able to run my laptop from the other room? The installation directions are unclear as to which computer to setup the router through. To make matters more difficult, I do not have access to add software to my work laptop.

Any suggestions?

I live in a college apartement and we have to share the internet since it the cable internet and phone come in one package. The internet for the past (3-4)couple of days has been very slow. I can download uploads pages or files. I'll be surpised if this page request goes through. When I go to the network center it says my broadband detection is good, when it is not all . I have rediculous times like a .txt file should only take 1 min or less to downlaod and it says three hours.

I am changing to a D Link which is faster and has better range.
When I put in the D Link install cd I got a error that says if I am installing behind another router I need to change that routers IP address but it did not tell me how to do that which is what I need to know how to do. I was using a Linksys router. Any info on how to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.
