At home, I am able to connect to certain programs using WiFi, such as Xfire and Steam. When I go to my school to connect to WiFi, I am the only one that is unable to establish a connection with those 2 programs, and others as well. The people around me are able to connect to them, but I cannot. If anyone knows a possible issue, please respond! - I tried disabling my firewall, did not work.

I need a realistic price per month for OC-192 service. Most of the results I get are cloaked in the whole "Request a quote" thing. Additionally, if you know the cost of the routers, cards, or other equipment needed, that would be a major plus (and a guaranteed 10 points).

Hello I have a question about trying to maintain privacy at work. I am using remote desktop from my work computer to my home computer and am using that to browse during downtimes.

Is this track-able via the network administrators at work?

Also at work we use AIM to communication between coworkers. If I have some personal conversations with my friends using that same account, can they track those?

I'm fairly familiar with computers and software applications, I just don't know what capabitlities network admins are given.

Thanks for you assistance.

I keep getting a message telling me that my IP adress is being used on another computer in the system...I have tried ipconfig/release...ipconfig/renew..its not helping. Only one computer at a time is able to access the internet...as long as one is off, everythings fine for the other. It seems as though the DCHP is assigning all the computers in my network the same IP adress...should I set up a static adress? If so, how?
Please help! Thanks!
