I have a BT Home Hub which has wireless and 2 wired connections.

I want to create a network but as far as I understand, the home hub is just for internet access. I want to have 3 wired PC's and a network printer. I already own a 4 port hub (1 WAN port and 4 LAN conns). Can I use this and how?

Hi,
all you need to do is get a standard 6 port (or more) network hub. connect this to the BT home hub and then to each PC and network printer.

Best to set each Pc's IP address manually and make the gateway setting the IP address of the router. Just remember if you have any software firewalls to make sure you allow communication on your internal IP addresses

If it has a WAN port then it is not a 4 port hub, it is a 4 port router. I believe your BT Home Hub is also a router. You do not need to connect any other devices.

What you need to do is run the network wizard on each computer or manually configure all the settings yourself on each computer.
