I need help with this router here http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=5507043&type=product&id=1051826245223

I want to connect it to my xbox 360 and then have it connect to my wireless access point. I guess I need it to act as a wireless-ethernet bridge. Does anyone know if I need to configure the settings to be able to do this or if I can just plug it in and have it work right from the start and how would i configure them?

This router, as most routers, will not act as a bridge, and will not talk to your other router.

You need either another Access point that works in bridge mode to connect to your xbox or just purchase a gaming bridge. Here is a link to one.

Just plug the bridge in and run through the quick install guide and you should be online in no time.

I found an article for you that describes how to connect it...

the XBOX360 should configure the router on its own, it will only change what it needs to to be able to connect (port forwarding is most likely the only one)...

just follow the directions, you should be all set.

Dear, just install a normal wireless router and set it up with the settings that Microsoft X-Box support provides. you need to contact X-box support for this and you will then be able to use your X-box with the router wirelessly
