I was driving behing a car that deliberately brakes for no reason, I went into the back of them and they claimed injuries even though there weren't any? I went into the back of them, and they got out of the car, instantly about 20 members of the family were there with cameras etc. Obviously i got the blame - no insurance company will disagree with a rear end collision... I lost my no-claims bonus and they walkied away smirking, what did you do?

I was in a small accident today. the arrow was green for me to turn left, and as i was doing that a woman perpendicular to me was going forward into a parking lot at my workplace. it was raining so when i hit my brakes my car slid into the back of her car, doing minor damage. my damage was even less, a few scratches. the witness who called the police for us and the woman i hit said i should wait on telling my insurance company at least until we get the police report back, because my insurance will go up, and it would be best to just pay for her car to be fixed, because it probably wont be much. however i believe this is unfair, i did hit her vehicle but i had the right a way. the arrow had turned green for me to go left, and she was at a stop sign. i dont feel i should have to pay for anything. also, i dont know whether i should go ahead and call my insurance company or wait til i get the police report. they said over the phone i should have moved the car, but my car almost got

I am 18 and still have my learner's permit. Although I could have gotten my full license when I was 16 my parents and I decided to wait until I was 18 that way the insurance would cost less. My question is, once I do get my full license, how much can my parent's expect their premium to go up? I don't have my own car yet, and probably won't for about a year.

I live in Florida and our current insurance company is Auto Owner's.

Can someone get insurance on a vehicle when their name is NOT on the title?? The insurance is in VA. My husband owns the car and was letting his little bro drive it, but we've removed the insurance and told him NOT to drive it, and found out that he has put insurance on it with his insurance company! Is this possible or legal even?

My mom and I were in a minor accident when backing out of a spot at the post office....to me it looked like surface scratches on both cars. We had some chalky residue that would easily wipe off on our car, while the other driver had the same, with a slightly deeper surface scratch....we weren't even sure our cars touched each other, we barely felt an impact at all.
The other driver was acting as though there was more damage than meets the eye (I think having it happen during the holiday rush was more the trouble), so we called the police for a report and are going through insurance. Even though it was our fault for backing out without seeing him, will my mom's insurance go up? If so, how much? She has a perfect driving record and has had no accidents or tickets. Thank you!

My husband received a ticket back in February of 1998. He does not remember receiving one nor paying it. We have received nothing on this ticket in the past almost nine years. Today we received a letter from the court issuing a warrent for my husbands arrest. This is the first information on this ticket we have ever received. Isn't there a time limit on when they can issue a warrant and if so, where can I find documentation on this so we can fight this ticket?

I'm going on a trip with my mom and younger brothers this saturday and my dad wants to buy AAA for us just in case there's car trouble/emergency. We don't want to be changing a flat in the the middle of the cold desert, especially if night falls.
If I buy a membership online is there a temporary card I can get/print right after I sign up and pay
or do they have to review the application and they get back to me in a couple of days?
The AAA card would be under mom + dad's names but my boyfriend wants to drive us in his car, if mom's also in the car and we have a car emergency in the my bf's car, will AAA also cover that?

My grandpa was driving straight down a road and a car came out making a left turn and my grandpa hit him on his side. The accident has been reported to the other side's insurance agency and investigation is pending. The person that he hit, however, is not accepting fault. Should he file a claim w/ his own insurance company? I just do not want to risk his insurance going up higher.

what happened was a neighbours car rolled into my parked car in the street. He put a note through my door explaining what happened saying he would pay for the damage. i havnt spoke to him yet tho cuz it only happened this morning and we r both at work. the problem is my car has no MOT cuz I never drive it and I am just worried incase his insurance company ask for my MOT certificate and then they wont pay anything out even when the accident clearly had nothing to do with me having no MOT. I know I should have MOT and I will definatly be getting it as soon as but does anybody know if it is standard practice for insurance companies to ask for MOT certificates in these sort of accidents.

I forgot to post that I was looking for a link or statute that I can look up. I dinged a car door today. It happened at KFC in Ontario Canada. I said I was sorry but watched the guy write down my licence plate. I want to look up the liability regarding parking lots and autos. Any links???
