The police officers and the wrecker both said to me that their insurance was going to buy me a new car. So what can I expect from that? Does it matter what kind of car I am driving?

I parked my car on the street next to my boyfriends house. In the middle of the night this dying tree decides it wants to take my car out with it too. Since the tree was in his yard does that mean his homeowners insurance has to pay?

If you have storged your car and it only has comprehensive insurance and you backed into that car with another car is the car in storage covered by comprehensive insurance?

I currently have allstate insurance in Georgia. I currently have an agent, but quotes are cheaper online. I have never be given a ticket or been in an accident thus the online quote shouldn't be higher.

I would like to know if it is possible to cancel insurance by calling customer service then applying for allstate again via their online site.

Hey, so I got my very first speeding ticket; however, it was 107 mph(42 over). IN WISCONSIN I got a pretty nice police officer though
1. I do NOT have to appear in court; i can just go there and pay it off
2. I never got my license suspended

-*I'm a MINOR, so I was wondering if I can pay it off on my own without a legal parent/guardian???
-*How often does Illinois check out-of-state records? <- Insurance
-Am I allowed to just pay in cash? How to money orders/cashier checks work???
- Can traffic school take it off of my driving record???
*- Do they send stuff home if I pay my fine weeks before the deadline???

Anyways, I know it was highly unacceptable to be going at this speed; frankly, I've never really sped over 100. So, yeah, I know it was extremely stupid on my part...but yea. =/

I am over 18, and my parents live in my home. I do have a license, but don't own a car as I take public transportation. Do I need to have auto insurance to drive his car for a few days? As in do I need to be put on the policy for just a day or two or is it alright? Assuming I don't get into any accidents or get any violations?

I purchased a vehicle at a Nissan dealership in Florida. A month later I still have no received my registration. I called, and apparently they messed up and needed more money to get it done. $200 to be exact. Annoyed, but I sent it in. 3 weeks later still no registration. I think at this point my temp tag expired and I'm driving an unregistered vehicle. they said "everything will be ok"...but tell that to the cop when I get pulled over for an unregistered car. What can I do? And if there is a law saying they have to get it out in a certain amount of time would you happen to know where I can find it? Thanks!

I don't want to register as a nonoperated vehicle however because I come home once in a while and use the car. During these periods, I will insure the car. Since I won't be DRIVING without insurance, is it ok not to have insurance even if the car is registered normally?

I have a really bad driving record and I only need to drive a car maybe 2 times a week. I purchased a car under my dads name to have it put under his insurance.

My question is.. assuming I never get into an accident in this car which is only in his name, and only drive it 2 times a week, do I still need to be on his policy?

If I get pulled over the police obvoiusly won't know I am not on the policy.

Also will my name need to be on the car registration if I'm only driving it once in a while? Thank you.

I bought an 03 mustang convt about a month ago for $10K, but it was a salvaged vehicle that had been restored.
2 weeks after having it, a lady ran a red light and t boned my car. Her insurance company , State farm, evaluated my car and deemed it a total loss.
Anyways, they paid me $13K for the car. I never said on the phone that it was salvaged when the insurance agent made the offer. They had the VIN number though. I had to go a state farm office to pick up my check, and give them the registration of the car, which did say on there it was a salvaged vehicle. They were busy and rushing that they didnt really look at it though. My insurance company (AIG) said that since it was already a salvaged vehicle that the pay out MIGHT only be 50-75 percent of actual cash value.

Thankfully I wasnt hurt at all, and came out 3 thousand ahead from it but im wondering if state farm actually looks at the paperwork later, can they demand money back from me?

I'm in California and I'm looking to get a new car soon. Once I get the car I'd like to put a custom plate on there, but a plate that is registered to my car and name. I know that I have to order the plate from the DMV website and they will deliver it to a local DMV.

But I'd like to know what to do after I pick up the plate, what if I already have a plate on my car? How do I go about doing this?

I am wanting to move to England, but I have a lease through Chrysler Financial. I don't know if it's possible for me to move out of the country with this lease. I also don't even know if it's legal to drive in England with a vehicle with a steering wheel on the "wrong" side of the vehicle. Any advice here on what I can do?
